About Virago Wear

Hi, we’re Georgina and Rebecca.

Virago began in Miami, with a conversation about how surprisingly difficult it was to find clothes that felt like us—even in a city known for fashion.

How it started

The store we had been looking for.

We met in Miami and quickly discovered that we were drawn to the same kind of fashion. We loved color, movement, strong silhouettes, and clothes that made getting dressed feel exciting.

What surprised us was how difficult those clothes could be to find. Miami is constantly described as a fashion destination, yet we often struggled to find styles that felt expressive, current, and genuinely like us—all in one place.

That shared frustration became the beginning of Virago Wear. We wanted to create the store we had been looking for: a place for women who enjoy being noticed, have fun with what they wear, and know that a great outfit can change the energy of an ordinary day.

We realized we were both looking for the same thing—and neither of us could find it.

A little more about us

Fashion entered our lives through different doors.

For Georgina, fashion has meant more than 12 years working as a professional model, actress, and television host. She participated in Miss Venezuela 2014 and has continued moving between sets, fittings, events, and runways—including New York Fashion Week. She often sees new silhouettes and styling ideas before they reach most closets.

Being surrounded by fashion has sharpened her sense of color, proportion, movement, and the unexpected detail that can make an outfit feel completely different.

For Rebecca, fashion has always been connected to the places she has lived, worked, and traveled. Being surrounded by different cultures showed her that women do not all dress for the same life—or express confidence in the same way.

Her international perspective keeps Virago open to influences beyond one city, one trend cycle, or one definition of how a woman should dress. For Rebecca, personal style is not about following a formula. It is about choosing what feels right for you and having fun with it.

We both love the moment when an outfit changes your mood.

When you stand differently, feel more like yourself, and suddenly want to make plans because getting dressed feels exciting again.

That is the feeling behind Virago.

Dress with presence.
